Well I removed Gentoo today and put good ol' Debian unstable + Gnome 2 experimental back on it. I really liked the concept of Gentoo but it has some glitches yet. First: it's just too timeconsuming to compile everything myself on a Athlon 800. Second: some ebuilds seem to be broken or have missing dependencies (thats the price of bleeding edge I think). So for my “dailywork” pc it's just not useable. Maybe I'll retry it on my next computer
