death of a system
Today the system disk of my router, fileserver and central brain of my home network died a screaming death. I't wasn't a big surprise as it made unusual sounds for the last few weeks already. But lazy as I am I ignored them instead of ordering a new disk. So today it died and I had to buy an overprized one at a local hardware shop. At least I could reanimate the old disk long engough to copy the data, else I would had to use a backup I made two weeks ago. Lucky me
However everything is back up and running. But one of the two datadisks is giving me strange “clacking” sounds from time to time
